Kim Volkov might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Klim Haritonov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kim Volkov ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Elista FC booed when iNTENTION was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matvey Behtin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th minute Konstantin Markov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yaroslav Khomukha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Elista FC's goalkeeper Klim Haritonov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 98th minute of the match, Oleg Gerlaonov got a very nice opportunity to score, but Yaroslav Khomukha was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The iNTENTION fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Elista FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
