But to his dismay, Maksim Belous quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. 62 minutes into the match, Khasavyurt's goal looked a bit too open when Egor Efimov came free, but Mark Schelkunov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Khasavyurt's Mark Schelkunov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silantiy Gereev in the 64th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Khasavyurt's Boris Gorbunov slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Valentin Orlov. That made the score 4-2 after 66 minutes of play. The Khasavyurt fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mark Schelkunov should have stopped the shot. Abakan's Konstantin Egle got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Abakan booed when Khasavyurt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stanislav Belyi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 84th minute, Anatoliy Ligay left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Abakan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-2. In the 93rd minute, Nazar Ashaulov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience held their breath when Efim Babka in the 95th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Mark Schelkunov's left hand side.
