Sergey Avdoshin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Filimon Trofimov's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sergey Avdoshin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. When Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk's Leonid Epshtein in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Filimon Trofimov's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sergey Avdoshin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Dmitriy Gabrilovich was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 87th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. With a little luck, Tolyatti FC's Albert Abrashin got control of the ball when Egor Kurmaliev tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dmitriy Kalyagin during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
