After a rather tough play, Volgograd FC's Valentin Paranin got a free kick in the 55th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stanislav Dasaev in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anatoliy Gasparyan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 62ndth minute of the game Emmanuil Uvarov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Salavat's Valentin Belozerov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eldar Smolskiy in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignat Brovin in the 80th minute of play forced Salavat's goalkeeper Valentin Belozerov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Salavat's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stanislav Dasaev was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Volgograd FC's zone, Eldar Smolskiy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anatoliy Gasparyan came out of the goal and Eldar Smolskiy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Salavat's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
