An unexpectedly hard shot by Sevastyan Bynyaev in the 7th minute of play forced Voronezh's goalkeeper Valeriy Knyazhinskiy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Matvey Borozdinskiy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 16th minute Sevastyan Bynyaev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valeriy Knyazhinskiy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valeriy Knyazhinskiy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sevastyan Bynyaev in the 19th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the game, Astrakhan's Sevastyan Bynyaev nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Valeriy Knyazhinskiy made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. The audience was convinced that Sevastyan Bynyaev's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Valeriy Knyazhinskiy was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Kirill Silkin kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Valeriy Knyazhinskiy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sevastyan Bynyaev in the 28th minute of play. Sevastyan Bynyaev scored 2-0 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Valeriy Knyazhinskiy, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Matvey Borozdinskiy who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 41stth minute tested the skills of Valeriy Knyazhinskiy when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Stanislav Zudin kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Matvey Borozdinskiys short, quick shot in the 45thth minute got Valeriy Knyazhinskiy to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 47th minute, Voronezh's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Matvey Borozdinskiy fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sevastyan Bynyaev to strike the kick off in the second half. Sevastyan Bynyaev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valeriy Knyazhinskiy having to interfere. Sevastyan Bynyaev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Valeriy Knyazhinskiy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 57th minute, Vyacheslav Sazonov left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Astrakhan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Sevastyan Bynyaev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Voronezh defense, Sevastyan Bynyaev kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Valeriy Knyazhinskiy. The Voronezh fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Valeriy Knyazhinskiy should have stopped the shot. When Sevastyan Bynyaev came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Astrakhan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sevastyan Bynyaev couldn't finish the play. Valeriy Knyazhinskiy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matvey Borozdinskiy in the 68th minute of play. In the 70th minute Georgiy Egishev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valeriy Knyazhinskiy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Matvey Borozdinskiy struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Valeriy Knyazhinskiy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Astrakhan. A collision led to Astrakhan getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Georgiy Egishev hit a great ball. Matvey Borozdinskiy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sevastyan Bynyaev in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Valeriy Knyazhinskiy prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 92 minutes into the match, Astrakhan's Matvey Borozdinskiy sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Valeriy Knyazhinskiy narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the referee ended the match the Astrakhan players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
