Ernest Cherchesov's late challenge caught a Yakutsk HC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 17th minute, Gerasim Karakin fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The audience was convinced that Gerasim Karakin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nikita Anisimov was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. If Gerasim Karakin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gerasim Karakin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nikita Anisimov having to interfere. In the 37th minute Viktor Shmarov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aleksey Semeiko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Viktor Shmarov in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aleksey Semeiko prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A beautiful save bye FC SSAU 2007's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Yakutsk HC's zone, Gerasim Karakin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nikita Anisimov came out of the goal and Gerasim Karakin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 73rd minute, Stepan Miroshin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 74th minute Gerasim Karakin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nikita Anisimov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, Yakutsk HC's Sergey Kazimirchuk sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aleksey Semeiko narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sergey Kazimirchuk could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Aleksey Semeiko made a huge save. Sergey Kazimirchuk spun around in front of the goal 86 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of FC SSAU 2007's goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Sergey Sazanov managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC SSAU 2007's supporters rose to their feet, but Sergey Sazanov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nikita Anisimov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 92 minutes of play, FC SSAU 2007's Ernest Cherchesov made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nikita Anisimov was left in no man's land by his defense there! For all the effort they put into the match, the Yakutsk HC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FC SSAU 2007.
