After 7 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Balashikha FC! When the match had been going on for 8 minutes, Kovrov's Fedor Bushnov got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Mikhail Titov. If Donat Hlebnikov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 12th minute, Mikhail Andryushin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Donat Hlebnikov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mikhail Titov having to interfere. With a little luck, Balashikha FC's Mikhail Titov got control of the ball when Egor Makovkin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Egor Makovkin scored 2-0 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mikhail Titov, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fedor Dobrolyubskiy hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Egor Makovkins short, quick shot in the 37thth minute got Mikhail Titov to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Mikhail Titov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donat Hlebnikov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Egor Makovkin's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Mikhail Titov firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 41st minute, Arseniy Nikiforov left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Balashikha FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Konstantin Beloselskiy to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 59thth minute of the game Donat Hlebnikov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Balashikha FC's Mikhail Titov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 60th match minute, Kovrov was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nikolay Buznikin to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Balashikha FC booed when Kovrov was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nikolay Buznikin didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Egor Makovkin in the 71st minute of play forced Balashikha FC's goalkeeper Mikhail Titov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Konstantin Beloselskiy struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Vitaliy Bogorodskiy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Balashikha FC. Vitaliy Bogorodskiy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Konstantin Beloselskiy in the 75th minute of play. Donat Hlebnikov took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mikhail Titov. Mikhail Titov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. After a rather tough play, Kovrov's David Agranovskiy got a free kick in the 81st minute. Vitaliy Bogorodskiy was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Arseniy Nikiforov showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-3 in the 82 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donat Hlebnikov in the 87th minute of play forced Balashikha FC's goalkeeper Mikhail Titov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There was no doubt that Kovrov were the better team. Kovrov's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
