An unexpectedly hard shot by Grigoriy Yatskevich in the 16th minute of play forced FC Pskov's goalkeeper Veniamin Golushko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ФК Урал Екатеринбург's Artur Snytko got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Grigoriy Yatskevich who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 23rdth minute tested the skills of Veniamin Golushko when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 26 played minutes FC Pskov got a freekick which was hit by Efim Adomaitis. With a little luck, FC Pskov's Veniamin Golushko got control of the ball when Arseniy Zhuravlev tried to sneak it across the goal line. Arseniy Zhuravlev could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Veniamin Golushko made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Grigoriy Yatskevich kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Veniamin Golushko. That made the score 2-0 in the 39 minute of play. Arseniy Zhuravlev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Veniamin Golushko having to interfere. After having played for 46 minutes, Arseniy Zhuravlev managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ФК Урал Екатеринбург's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arseniy Zhuravlev was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 48 minutes, Grigoriy Yatskevich made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. FC Pskov's Veniamin Golushko tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Grigoriy Yatskevich to make the kick off. Arseniy Zhuravlev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Grigoriy Yatskevich recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, FC Pskov's Vadim Lagov got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Veniamin Golushko came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by ФК Урал Екатеринбург's Artur Snytko. But to his dismay, Artur Snytko quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Veniamin Golushko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arseniy Zhuravlev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the FC Pskov defense, Arseniy Zhuravlev kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Veniamin Golushko. The FC Pskov fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Veniamin Golushko should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Grigoriy Yatskevich in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Veniamin Golushko prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 93rd minute, Arseniy Zhuravlev got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Veniamin Golushko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Grigoriy Yatskevich in the 95th minute of the match. Veniamin Golushko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Grigoriy Yatskevich in the 96th minute of play. Veniamin Golushko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Grigoriy Yatskevich, who was totally free with the ball in the 100th minute. When the referee ended the match the ФК Урал Екатеринбург players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
