Bataysk's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Bataysk's Artem Kancheli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Bataysk from getting a goal against them. Artem Kancheli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Grigoriy Erlykov in the 8th minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, Magadan HC's Grigoriy Erlykov sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Artem Kancheli narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nikolay Kolesin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Artem Kancheli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vladimir Halchinskiy during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Vladimir Halchinskiy kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Nikolay Kolesin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artem Kancheli having to interfere. Artem Kancheli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Grigoriy Erlykov, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Spiridon Knyazhetskiy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leonid Serov came free in the 26th minute and tried to tip the ball over Zinoviy Afanasenkov, but to the joy of Magadan HC's supporters the ball went over. In the 32nd minute Nikolay Kolesin suffered a knee injury and had to be helped off the field. Natan Lihachev charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Natan Lihachev the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 32 minutes into the game, one of Bataysk:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 43rd minute of the match Magadan HC got a corner. Bataysk's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ernest Doronin ran over to the corner to take the kick. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 53rd minute Grigoriy Erlykov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artem Kancheli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Grigoriy Erlykov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artem Kancheli having to interfere. Grigoriy Erlykov struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Artem Kancheli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Magadan HC. Valentin Borovskiy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Artem Kancheli came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Magadan HC's Grigoriy Erlykov. But to his dismay, Grigoriy Erlykov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. 68 minutes into the match, Bataysk's goal looked a bit too open when Grigoriy Erlykov came free, but Artem Kancheli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Spiridon Knyazhetskiy hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Valentin Borovskiy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artem Kancheli having to interfere. In the 77th minute, Grigoriy Erlykov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Bataysk's zone, Vasiliy Sidorov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Artem Kancheli came out of the goal and Vasiliy Sidorov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Valentin Borovskiy blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Artem Kancheli having to make a save. After having played for 86 minutes, Grigoriy Erlykov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Magadan HC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Grigoriy Erlykov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Artem Kancheli didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vasiliy Sidorov went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Filipp Ovechkin charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Filipp Ovechkin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Bataysk's Filipp Ovechkin got a free kick in the 91st minute. In the 94th minute, Grigoriy Erlykov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Magadan HC fully deserved thier win.
