Kirill Lobanov was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A hard shot 47 in the game by Egor Kibenko from a close distance when the talented Vsevolod Sergin managed to make a qualified save. Novosibirsk FC's players were relieved. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 55th play minute Stepan Boltaev came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Kirill Lobanov. 0-6. Sergey Denisov blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kirill Lobanov having to make a save. Stepan Boltaev hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Novosibirsk FC made a substitution. Valeriy Averchenko replaced Semen Nosov. A collision led to Novosibirsk FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Stepan Boltaev hit a great ball. In the 67thth minute of the game Egor Kibenko who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Novosibirsk FC's Vsevolod Sergin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Sergey Denisov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergey Denisov in the 70th minute of play forced Volgograd's goalkeeper Kirill Lobanov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Volgograd's zone, Stepan Boltaev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kirill Lobanov came out of the goal and Stepan Boltaev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 80th match minute, Novosibirsk FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valeriy Averchenko to maneuver through the defense. In the 81st minute Valeriy Plankin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vsevolod Sergin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Egor Kibenko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 83 played minutes Volgograd got a freekick which was hit by Makar Abdulaev. A collision led to Volgograd getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Stepan Berezutskiy hit a great ball. Kirill Lobanov was out of position in the 90 minute of play, and Stepan Boltaev capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Stepan Boltaev really showed his touch with that goal: 0-7. When the final whistle sounded Novosibirsk FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Volgograd.
