Novosibirsk FC's Vsevolod Sergin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Novosibirsk FC from getting a goal against them. Semen Nosov hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Ruslan Skryabin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vsevolod Sergin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sergey Denisov in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Timofey Golant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Samuil Fomichev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergey Denisov in the 33rd minute of play forced Izhevsk FC's goalkeeper Timofey Golant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 35 minutes of play, Novosibirsk FC's Sergey Denisov made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net.
