An unexpectedly hard shot by Demyan Sidorov in the 12th minute of play forced Novorossiysk FC's goalkeeper Arseniy Maltsev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th minute Vitaliy Gorbachev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valeriy Kapustin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valeriy Kapustin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vitaliy Gorbachev in the 15th minute of the match. Valeriy Kapustin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ostap Artemev in the 18th minute. Ostap Artemev could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Valeriy Kapustin made a huge save. Potap Kostin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arseniy Maltsev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Demyan Sidorov in the 33rd minute of the match. Valeriy Kapustin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ostap Artemev in the 38th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ostap Artemev in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Valeriy Kapustin saved Ekaterinburg FC from getting behind. Evgeniy Terentiev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Arseniy Maltsev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Ekaterinburg FC booed when Novorossiysk FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Danila Hlebnikov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arseniy Maltsev didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Evgeniy Terentiev went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The Novorossiysk FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ekaterinburg FC were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Ostap Artemev made the kick off in the second half. Ostap Artemev recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vitaliy Gorbachev took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Valeriy Kapustin. Valeriy Kapustin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Ostap Artemev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valeriy Kapustin having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Demyan Sidorov kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Arseniy Maltsev. That made the score 1-2 in the 78 minute of play. Arseniy Maltsev made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Evgeniy Terentiev sent off a good shot on target. Demyan Sidorov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arseniy Maltsev having to interfere. Valeriy Kapustin came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Novorossiysk FC's Danila Hlebnikov. But to his dismay, Danila Hlebnikov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. After 90 played minutes Novorossiysk FC got a freekick which was hit by Lev Miroshkin. Demyan Sidorov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arseniy Maltsev having to interfere. Demyan Sidorov's late challenge caught a Novorossiysk FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Demyan Sidorov helped the player get up and apologised. In the 95th match minute, Ekaterinburg FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Demyan Sidorov to maneuver through the defense. Egor Berzarin hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. The Ekaterinburg FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Novorossiysk FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
