Through an outstanding action, after 21 minutes, Stepan Sidorov successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 25th minute, Andrey Novosadov ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vsevolod Sergin was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Stepan Boltaevs short, quick shot in the 27thth minute got Stepan Sidorov to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With a little luck, Lipetsk's Stepan Sidorov got control of the ball when Stepan Boltaev tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 28th minute, Novosibirsk FC's Stepan Boltaev dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Sergey Denisov struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Stepan Sidorov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Novosibirsk FC. Leonid Prusakov's late challenge caught a Novosibirsk FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leonid Prusakov helped the player get up and apologised. In the 69th match minute, Lipetsk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonid Prusakov to maneuver through the defense. Novosibirsk FC's Lev Kaznacheev was substituted for Roman Maslyannikov. Lipetsk made a substitution. Zinoviy Turov replaced Leonid Prusakov. The audience was convinced that Sergey Denisov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stepan Sidorov was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. Stepan Sidorov came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Novosibirsk FC's Sergey Denisov. But to his dismay, Sergey Denisov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After some careless play in the Lipetsk defense, Stepan Boltaev kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stepan Sidorov. The Lipetsk fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stepan Sidorov should have stopped the shot. Lipetsk's Viktor Ostrovskiy was substituted for Arseniy Shitov. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stepan Boltaev in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stepan Sidorov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andrey Novosadov got free with Vsevolod Sergin in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Novosibirsk FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
