Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 135) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Samuil Fomichev started the match with the kick off. Timofey Golant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valeriy Plankin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 4 minutes into the match, Izhevsk FC's goal looked a bit too open when Valeriy Plankin came free, but Timofey Golant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 5th minute of the match Volgograd got a corner. Izhevsk FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Anton Matveev ran over to the corner to take the kick. Kirill Lobanov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dmitriy Ganenfeldt in the 11th minute of play. Andrey Gaevoy lost his temper 13 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Dmitriy Ganenfeldt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kirill Lobanov having to interfere. After 20 minutes of play, Izhevsk FC's Ruslan Skryabin made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kirill Lobanov was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ruslan Skryabin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Volgograd's Valeriy Plankin in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Izhevsk FC's goalie prevented a goal. Ruslan Skryabin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Grigoriy Bunko hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. After 35 minutes, Makar Abdulaev mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Volgograd and the Izhevsk FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valeriy Plankin in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Timofey Golant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 44th minute, Egor Kibenko left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Volgograd fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1.
The wind increased when Egor Kibenko made the kick off in the second half. Izhevsk FC's Timofey Golant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valeriy Plankin in the 53rd minute of play. Ruslan Skryabin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kirill Lobanov having to interfere. Konstantin Volosov hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. When Egor Kibenko came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Volgograd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Egor Kibenko couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Volgograd getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Makar Abdulaev hit a great ball. Timofey Golant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Egor Kibenko went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Oleg Sychev kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the match, Egor Kibenko notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Izhevsk FC's Timofey Golant. Timofey Golant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A throw-in in the 83rd minute of the game was made by Nikita Leonchenko with Makar Abdulaev as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. When Volgograd's Valeriy Plankin in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Izhevsk FC's goalie prevented a goal. When Dmitriy Ganenfeldt fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Izhevsk FC's protests and gave Dmitriy Ganenfeldt a yellow card for diving instead. Volgograd were awarded a corner in the 87th minute after Izhevsk FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Anton Matveev took the corner. The corner ended in Anton Matveev almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Izhevsk FC's Timofey Golant did a great save. In the 89th minute of the match, Danil Samoshkin tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Kirill Lobanov saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 91 minutes into the match, Volgograd's goal looked a bit too open when Dmitriy Ganenfeldt came free, but Kirill Lobanov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Volgograd's zone, Ruslan Skryabin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kirill Lobanov came out of the goal and Ruslan Skryabin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Konstantin Volosov charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Konstantin Volosov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Many of Izhevsk FC's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Izhevsk FC may have spent more time on the ball, but Volgograd were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
