Potap Kostin's late challenge caught a Lipetsk's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Potap Kostin helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Lipetsk booed when Novorossiysk FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Potap Kostin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 20th minute, Andrey Novosadov made a precise shot to the right of Arseniy Maltsev. Novorossiysk FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Potap Kostin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Stepan Sidorov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Stepan Sidorov was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Novorossiysk FC's Arseniy Maltsev proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Novorossiysk FC from getting a goal against them. When Lipetsk's Vitaliy Filimonov in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Stepan Sidorov was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 54 played minutes Lipetsk got a freekick which was hit by Evgeniy Stukalin. After 57 played minutes Lipetsk got a freekick which was hit by Arseniy Shitov. In the 60th minute, Vitaliy Filimonov made a precise shot to the right of Arseniy Maltsev. Novorossiysk FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Lipetsk made a substitution. Zinoviy Turov replaced Leonid Prusakov. Stepan Sidorov came out of the goal and Ostap Artemev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Novorossiysk FC getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Lev Miroshkin hit a great ball. Emil Lytkin kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. 93 minutes into the match, Lipetsk's goalkeeper Stepan Sidorov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Potap Kostin.
