Grozny FC's Matvey Kartashev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ilya Tolbuhin in the 16th minute of play. Artem Gostintsev hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. 27 minutes into the game, Korolev's Ilya Tolbuhin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Matvey Kartashev made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Valentin Nosov hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arseniy Baibakov got free with Matvey Kartashev in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 75th minute Vladimir Silin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yuriy Podkopalov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 76 minutes into the match, Vladimir Silin dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Yuriy Podkopalov, 2-4. With his leg Yuriy Podkopalov managed to avoid a goal in the 79thth minute, when Grozny FC's Vladimir Silin fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ilya Tolbuhin might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Matvey Kartashev. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ilya Tolbuhin ran back to his position shaking his head. After 84 played minutes Grozny FC got a freekick which was hit by Lev Dobropolskiy. Stanislav Getmanov struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Matvey Kartashev didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Korolev. In the 94th match minute, Korolev was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saveliy Volkov to maneuver through the defense. The Korolev supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Grozny FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Grozny FC.
