Spectators: 6944 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1944, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. But to his dismay, Vladimir Silin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Vladimir Silin put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Elisey Yakushin. Elisey Yakushin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vladimir Silin in the 13th minute of play. Andrey Berketov scored 0-3 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Elisey Yakushin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Elisey Yakushin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vladimir Silin went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Ekaterinburg FC's Elisey Yakushin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vladimir Silin in the 22nd minute of play. When Andrey Berketov came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Grozny FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andrey Berketov couldn't finish the play. If Aleksey Bolotin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elisey Yakushin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elisey Yakushin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrey Berketov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute, Vladimir Silin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Elisey Yakushin was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Andrey Berketov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Elisey Yakushin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Danila Zinchenko made the kick off in the second half. Vladimir Silin in the 52ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. With a little luck, Ekaterinburg FC's Elisey Yakushin got control of the ball when Andrey Berketov tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 96th minute Vladimir Silin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elisey Yakushin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Grozny FC played a much better game than Ekaterinburg FC and deserved their victory. The Ekaterinburg FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
