In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Siberian Knights's goalkeeper Anton Esipov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Boris Eliseev came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the FC. Armavir fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Boris Eliseev couldn't finish the play. In the 25th minute, Nikolay Chanov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Siberian Knights's Vyacheslav Doborovich got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Siberian Knights's zone, Dimitri Smeulders stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anton Esipov came out of the goal and Dimitri Smeulders tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Anton Esipov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dimitri Smeulders in the 36th minute. Siberian Knights's Anton Esipov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Siberian Knights from getting a goal against them. In the 45th minute, Dimitri Smeulders made a precise shot to the right of Anton Esipov. Siberian Knights's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dimitri Smeulders to make the kick off. If Boris Eliseev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 54 minutes into the match, FC. Armavir's Dimitri Smeulders sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anton Esipov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ernest Garve hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. After having played for 58 minutes, Vyacheslav Doborovich managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Siberian Knights's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vyacheslav Doborovich was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to FC. Armavir getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Boris Eliseev hit a great ball. Anton Esipov didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Boris Eliseev went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. 68 minutes into the match, Boris Eliseev notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Siberian Knights's Anton Esipov. Anton Esipov was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Anton Esipov came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by FC. Armavir's Dimitri Smeulders. But to his dismay, Dimitri Smeulders quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Boris Eliseev might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anton Esipov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Boris Eliseev ran back to his position shaking his head. Boris Eliseev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 83rd minute, Boris Eliseev left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC. Armavir fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Dimitri Smeulders managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC. Armavir's supporters rose to their feet, but Dimitri Smeulders was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anton Esipov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 88 minutes into the game, FC. Armavir's Boris Eliseev nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anton Esipov made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. In the 94th minute, Dimitri Smeulders got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Siberian Knights's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
