Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Felix Dubinskiy started the match with the kick off. Felix Dubinskiy hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. If Igor Borisov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felix Dubinskiy's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rostislav Baidak read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Filipp Aksenov left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Naberezhnye Chelny FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After 13 played minutes Naberezhnye Chelny FC got a freekick which was hit by Yuriy Dementiev. Karelia FC's Kasım Nevzat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anton Babich in the 23rd minute of play. Kirill Belousov made in the 30th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Karelia FC's Grigoriy Figner. In the 32nd match minute, Naberezhnye Chelny FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filipp Aksenov to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rdth minute of the game Felix Dubinskiy who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Naberezhnye Chelny FC's Rostislav Baidak was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gennadiy Rozhin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rostislav Baidak having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Dubinskiy in the 37th minute of play forced Naberezhnye Chelny FC's goalkeeper Rostislav Baidak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 39 minutes, Igor Borisov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Naberezhnye Chelny FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Igor Borisov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Anton Babich sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anton Babich made a kick off. Vasiliy Gryaznovo was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 53 minutes into the match. Oleg Velezhev missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 55 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Kasım Nevzat right hand side. Kasım Nevzat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anton Babich, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. After a rather tough play, Naberezhnye Chelny FC's Arkhip Knyazev got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Rostislav Baidak stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Felix Dubinskiy's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. Felix Dubinskiys short, quick shot in the 93rdth minute got Rostislav Baidak to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Gennadiy Rozhin came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Karelia FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gennadiy Rozhin couldn't finish the play. 96 minutes into the match, Karelia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Anton Babich came free, but Kasım Nevzat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Karelia FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Naberezhnye Chelny FC.
