The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee felt a red card was in order, 11 minutes into the game, when Iordache Sinulescu put in a rough tackle. 10 minutes into the game, one of Kamyshin:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Kolomna Stars a penalty, 12 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Zula Pieknik, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Kamyshin's Yuriy Nazarov. 0-2. The supporters of Kamyshin booed when Kolomna Stars was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Javier Weterio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kolomna Stars's goalkeeper Sergio Behe, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Petr Hodulov's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yuriy Nazarov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Yuriy Nazarov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zula Pieknik, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. 36 minutes into the game, Javier Weterio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kolomna Stars's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kamyshin the free kick. After 36 played minutes Kolomna Stars got a freekick which was hit by Javier Weterio. The supporters of Kolomna Stars booed when Kamyshin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cornelius Locke didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kamyshin's Yuriy Nazarov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Javier Weterio in the 39th minute of play. Yuriy Nazarov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Javier Weterio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Javier Weterio put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Yuriy Nazarov. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Javier Weterio was the one to do the kick off. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Kamyshin's goalkeeper Yuriy Nazarov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Yuriy Nazarov came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Kolomna Stars's Javier Weterio. But to his dismay, Javier Weterio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. After having played for 73 minutes, Efrem Russov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kamyshin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Efrem Russov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kamyshin's Kazemir Mishin was substituted for Ahmet Orhan Tevfik. The referee felt a red card was in order, 88 minutes into the game, when Jan Mudry put in a rough tackle. The referee gave Kamyshin a penalty, 89 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Emmanuil Timofeev, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Kolomna Stars's Sergio Behe. 1-4. 94 minutes into the match, Kamyshin's goalkeeper Yuriy Nazarov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mark Kondratiev. Zula Pieknik might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Yuriy Nazarov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zula Pieknik ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kazemir Mishin in the 98th minute of play forced Kolomna Stars's goalkeeper Sergio Behe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 99th minute, Rostislav Sultanov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 101 minutes into the match, Kamyshin's goalkeeper Yuriy Nazarov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zula Pieknik.
