Pavel Ivashin started the match with the kick off. In the 4thth minute of the game Andrey Bubnov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Autoservice's Tim Weller was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tim Weller made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrey Bubnov in the 6th minute of play. Tim Weller showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Virgilio Quinto in the 15th minute of the match. Tim Weller didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Virgilio Quinto went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Roman Mamatov did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Göksel Koral 21 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, FC Autoservice's Denis Cherkasskiy got a free kick in the 23rd minute. With a little luck, WWW LENINGRAD's Göksel Koral got control of the ball when Pavel Ivashin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tim Weller took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filipp Abdullin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the FC Autoservice defense, Virgilio Quinto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tim Weller. The FC Autoservice fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tim Weller should have stopped the shot. WWW LENINGRAD's Vadim Brondukov was substituted for Filipp Abdullin. The supporters of FC Autoservice booed when WWW LENINGRAD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrey Bubnov didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Andrey Bubnov fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored WWW LENINGRAD's protests and gave Andrey Bubnov a yellow card for diving instead. After 35 played minutes WWW LENINGRAD got a freekick which was hit by Andrey Bubnov. Tim Weller took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrey Bubnov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes into the game, one of FC Autoservice:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After some careless play in the FC Autoservice defense, Virgilio Quinto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tim Weller. The FC Autoservice fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tim Weller should have stopped the shot. Pavel Ivashin had several of the WWW LENINGRAD's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 44 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-3 score and a disappointed Göksel Koral as he didn't even see the shot coming. Fabian Brytan hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The FC Autoservice players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. WWW LENINGRAD were winning 2-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Virgilio Quinto made a kick off. In the 52nd play minute Virgilio Quinto came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Tim Weller. 2-4. WWW LENINGRAD's Göksel Koral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roman Mamatov in the 55th minute of play. In the 64th minute, Ruslan Nekrasov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 65 minutes into the match, Pavel Ivashin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Göksel Koral. WWW LENINGRAD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pavel Ivashin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-4. In the 69th match minute, FC Autoservice was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pavel Ivashin to maneuver through the defense. Levente Balogh kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. FC Autoservice's Roman Mamatov got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Virgilio Quinto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Tim Weller made a huge save. Virgilio Quinto took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tim Weller. Tim Weller dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-5. FC Autoservice's Paavo Huuhtanen was substituted for Ernest Ermakov. Göksel Koral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roman Mamatov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 89 minutes into the game, Roman Mamatov cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-5. Göksel Koral was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Virgilio Quinto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tim Weller having to interfere. Virgilio Quinto scored 4-6 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tim Weller, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The FC Autoservice supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching WWW LENINGRAD's performance. The match ended with a win for WWW LENINGRAD.
