After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Boris Eliseev managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC. Armavir's supporters rose to their feet, but Boris Eliseev was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tim Weller breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, FC Autoservice's Tim Weller got control of the ball when Dimitri Smeulders tried to sneak it across the goal line. Valentin Smirnov hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Boris Eliseev might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tim Weller. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Boris Eliseev ran back to his position shaking his head. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Pavel Ivashin made the kick off in the second half. Pavel Ivashin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 56th match minute, FC. Armavir was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Danila Pavluhin to maneuver through the defense. In the 59th minute Dimitri Smeulders shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tim Weller saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Armavir and the FC Autoservice players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of FC Autoservice booed when FC. In the 74th minute of the match, Pavel Ivashin got a very nice opportunity to score, but Evgeniy Brodovoy was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 81 minutes into the match, Dimitri Smeulders had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tim Weller. FC Autoservice's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dimitri Smeulders was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. FC Autoservice's Paavo Huuhtanen was substituted for Ernest Ermakov. Pavel Ivashin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Evgeniy Brodovoy made a huge save. The supporters of FC. Armavir booed when FC Autoservice was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Egor Bliznetsov didn't get a good kick on the ball. 91 minutes into the match, FC Autoservice's goal looked a bit too open when Dimitri Smeulders came free, but Tim Weller reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The FC. Armavir players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
