In the 27th minute, Roman Mamatov ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kasım Nevzat was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Kasım Nevzat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pavel Ivashin in the 30th minute of the match. Kasım Nevzat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pavel Ivashin in the 33rd minute of play. Gennadiy Rozhin hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Aleksandr Lugvenev kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Felix Dubinskiy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tim Weller having to interfere. Roman Mamatov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Kasım Nevzat stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roman Mamatov's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. Kasım Nevzat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pavel Ivashin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When FC Autoservice's Pavel Ivashin in the 48th minute got a chance for a shot 48th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Karelia FC's goalie prevented a goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pavel Ivashin was the one to do the kick off. Kasım Nevzat acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 62nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Dawid Arbaszewski. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Felix Dubinskiy in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tim Weller prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Viktor Gavrilov kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. The supporters of Karelia FC booed when FC Autoservice was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dawid Arbaszewski didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Valeriy Gaidukov came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Karelia FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valeriy Gaidukov couldn't finish the play. Pavel Ivashin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Kasım Nevzat made a huge save. The supporters of FC Autoservice booed when Karelia FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vasiliy Gryaznovo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 82 played minutes Karelia FC got a freekick which was hit by Slawomir Komanski. FC Autoservice's Paavo Huuhtanen was substituted for Ernest Ermakov. In the 83rd minute, Slawomir Komanski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 84th minute, Pavel Ivashin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Autoservice fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. If Denis Cherkasskiy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 93 played minutes Karelia FC got a freekick which was hit by Gennadiy Rozhin. After having played for 93 minutes, Roman Mamatov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Autoservice's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roman Mamatov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Roman Mamatov managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Autoservice's supporters rose to their feet, but Roman Mamatov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kasım Nevzat breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roman Mamatov in the 98th minute of play forced Karelia FC's goalkeeper Kasım Nevzat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Karelia FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching FC Autoservice's performance. The match ended with a win for FC Autoservice.
