In the 8th match minute, Siberian Knights was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pavel Kolotovkin to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th minute Vladislav Nikitin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vyacheslav Rogovskiy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 19 minutes into the game, Oleg Kanivetskiy was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Oktyabrsky FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Siberian Knights the free kick. After 20 played minutes Oktyabrsky FC got a freekick which was hit by Oleg Kanivetskiy. Oktyabrsky FC's Vladimir Kostin got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 33 minutes into the match, Evgeniy Prudnikov had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anton Esipov. Siberian Knights's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Evgeniy Prudnikov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Evgeniy Prudnikov blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anton Esipov having to make a save. It was beautiful to see Oktyabrsky FC's Stepan Antipov in action when he in the 43rd minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! In the 45th minute, Ippolit Kudinov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anton Esipov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vladimir Kostin in the 48th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vladimir Kostin was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Oktyabrsky FC's Stepan Antipov nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anton Esipov made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. After 58 played minutes, Oktyabrsky FC's Leonid Turov shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Anton Esipov came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Oktyabrsky FC reached it. Ippolit Kudinov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anton Esipov having to interfere. Siberian Knights's Anton Esipov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ippolit Kudinov in the 63rd minute of play. Vladimir Kostin's late challenge caught a Siberian Knights's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vladimir Kostin helped the player get up and apologised. In the 64th minute, Vladimir Kostin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Oleg Kanivetskiy blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anton Esipov having to make a save. If Evgeniy Prudnikov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 85th minute, Vladislav Nikitin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stepan Antipov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Anton Esipov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ippolit Kudinov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anton Esipov having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vladimir Kostin in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anton Esipov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. There was no doubt that Oktyabrsky FC were the better team. Oktyabrsky FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
