The FC Mochudi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vasiliy Belyakov should have stopped the shot. Vasiliy Belyakov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vladimir Kostin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evgeniy Prudnikov in the 15th minute of play forced FC Mochudi's goalkeeper Vasiliy Belyakov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 16 minutes into the match, FC Mochudi's goal looked a bit too open when Vladimir Kostin came free, but Vasiliy Belyakov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vladislav Petrushevskiy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vyacheslav Rogovskiy having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Igor Blagonadezhin was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Igor Blagonadezhin in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vyacheslav Rogovskiy prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 55th play minutes Evgeniy Prudnikov shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Vasiliy Belyakov and just under the crossbar into goal. The FC Mochudi supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Oktyabrsky FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Oktyabrsky FC.
