Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniil Bodryashkin started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd match minute, Cherkessk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sergey Markov to maneuver through the defense. After 5 played minutes Cherkessk got a freekick which was hit by Artem Vyugin. Gleb Antipov's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Mark Metlitskiy - 1-0 was put on the score board in the 5th minute. With a little luck, Cherkessk's Mark Metlitskiy got control of the ball when Nikolay Bulashev tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mark Metlitskiy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igor Broyakovskiy in the 15th minute of play. If Nikolay Bulashev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nikolay Bulashev might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mark Metlitskiy. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nikolay Bulashev ran back to his position shaking his head. Nikolay Bulashev could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Mark Metlitskiy made a huge save. Igor Broyakovskiy struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Mark Metlitskiy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Open Space. In the 36th minute, Sergey Markov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Open Space's Gleb Antipov tried to score from far away in the 37th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nikolay Bulashev got free with Mark Metlitskiy in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Igor Broyakovskiy was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Cherkessk's zone, Igor Broyakovskiy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mark Metlitskiy came out of the goal and Igor Broyakovskiy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Denis Popov kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Mark Metlitskiy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nikolay Bulashev, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Boris Taratorkin, 60 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After 67 minutes, Vsevolod Abeldyaev mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Open Space and the Cherkessk players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Cherkessk booed when Open Space was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vsevolod Abeldyaev didn't get a good kick on the ball. German Filippov acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 68th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Boris Taratorkin. 73 minutes into the match, Open Space's goal looked a bit too open when Daniil Bodryashkin came free, but German Filippov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vsevolod Minkov kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Igor Broyakovskiy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniil Bodryashkin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without German Filippov having to interfere. When Daniil Bodryashkin came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Cherkessk fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniil Bodryashkin couldn't finish the play. German Filippov was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Artem Vyugin. 93 minutes into the match, Daniil Bodryashkin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of German Filippov. Open Space's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniil Bodryashkin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
