With a left leg Konstantin Prohanov saved Shchelkovo from getting behind. 13 minutes into the game, Anatoliy Blokhin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nizhnekamsk's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Shchelkovo the free kick. After a rather tough play, Nizhnekamsk's Anatoliy Blokhin got a free kick in the 13th minute. In the 15th minute, Nizhnekamsk's Stanislav Markov ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Konstantin Prohanov. Konstantin Prohanov yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. If Roman Naumkin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Nizhnekamsk booed when Shchelkovo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Konstantin Karpin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 26 minutes, Roman Naumkin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nizhnekamsk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roman Naumkin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Semen Burlyay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Varfolomey Romanov in the 34th minute of the match. A collision led to Shchelkovo getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Veniamin Shesternev hit a great ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

54 minutes into the match, Nizhnekamsk's goalkeeper Semen Burlyay had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Varfolomey Romanov. In the 56th minute Roman Naumkin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Konstantin Prohanov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anatoliy Blokhin got his second yellow card in the match during the 59th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Anatoliy Blokhin hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Konstantin Prohanov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roman Naumkin in the 70th minute of the match. 72 minutes into the match, Nizhnekamsk's goal looked a bit too open when Grigoriy Gvozdikov came free, but Semen Burlyay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Veniamin Shesternev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Roman Naumkin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nizhnekamsk's supporters rose to their feet, but Roman Naumkin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Konstantin Prohanov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lev Alferov took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Konstantin Prohanov. Konstantin Prohanov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Grigoriy Gvozdikov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Semen Burlyay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 87th match minute, Nizhnekamsk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stanislav Markov to maneuver through the defense. 89 minutes into the match, Nizhnekamsk's goal looked a bit too open when Veniamin Shesternev came free, but Semen Burlyay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lev Alferov in the 91st minute of play forced Shchelkovo's goalkeeper Konstantin Prohanov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Konstantin Prohanov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roman Naumkin, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Nizhnekamsk's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
