Spectators: 6325 (Terracing: 4700, Seating: 1520, VIP seats: 105) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Andrey Novikov started the match with the kick off. Leonid Irdebenev was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Vitaliy Eliseev showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 7 minute of play. In the 11th minute, Semen Berkunov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 12th play minutes Vitaliy Eliseev shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Leonid Irdebenev and just under the crossbar into goal. 유 길 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dmitriy Urazov, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Leonid Irdebenev was out of position in the 18 minute of play, and Vitaliy Eliseev capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Vitaliy Eliseev really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. After 20 minutes of play, Спартак's Vitaliy Eliseev made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leonid Irdebenev was left in no man's land by his defense there! With his leg Leonid Irdebenev managed to avoid a goal in the 25thth minute, when Спартак's Vitaliy Eliseev fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a little luck, Saratov HC's Leonid Irdebenev got control of the ball when Zinoviy Bronnikov tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Vitaliy Eliseev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Clay Addison scored 5-0 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leonid Irdebenev, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 32nd minute, Roman Arshavin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Zinoviy Bronnikov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eduard Breider recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Zinoviy Bronnikov kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Leonid Irdebenev. That made the score 7-0 in the 39 minute of play. In the 42ndth minute of the game Vitaliy Eliseev who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Saratov HC's Leonid Irdebenev was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Vitaliy Eliseev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 7-0.

51 minutes into the game, Vitaliy Eliseev cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Leonid Irdebenev was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Спартак's Vitaliy Eliseev got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 55th minute Vitaliy Eliseev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonid Irdebenev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 57 minutes, the score became 9-0 when Vitaliy Eliseev sped through Saratov HC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Leonid Irdebenev. After 60 played minutes Saratov HC got a freekick which was hit by Dmitriy Urazov. Leonid Irdebenev came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Спартак's Vitaliy Eliseev. But to his dismay, Vitaliy Eliseev quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 10-0. The audience was convinced that Vitaliy Eliseev's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leonid Irdebenev was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. Roman Arshavin hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 69 minutes, the score became 11-0 when Vitaliy Eliseev sped through Saratov HC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Leonid Irdebenev. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vitaliy Eliseev in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leonid Irdebenev saved Saratov HC from getting behind. Leonid Irdebenev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vitaliy Eliseev in the 74th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Спартак's Zinoviy Bronnikov got a free kick in the 74th minute. The Спартак fans' excitement grew in the 81st match minute when Спартак's Vitaliy Eliseev looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 12-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Zinoviy Bronnikov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Спартак's supporters rose to their feet, but Zinoviy Bronnikov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leonid Irdebenev breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leonid Irdebenev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vitaliy Eliseev, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. When Armin Mustakivi came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Спартак fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Armin Mustakivi couldn't finish the play. After 87 minutes, Vitaliy Eliseev made it 13-0 with a short kick to the right side. Saratov HC's Leonid Irdebenev tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 93rd minute, Vitaliy Eliseev ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leonid Irdebenev was frozen by the shot and now it was 14-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Спартак had played much better football throughout.
