Aleksey Smertin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Varfolomey Romanov in the 11th minute of play. Zlatoust FC's Aleksey Smertin hadn't the time to block the shot which was pasted into the goal, 0-1! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Varfolomey Romanov in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aleksey Smertin saved Zlatoust FC from getting behind. The supporters of Shchelkovo booed when Zlatoust FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Konstantin Prohanov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arseniy Lihobaba's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Ernest Kazachenok charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ernest Kazachenok the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Egor Bazyuta hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Aleksey Smertin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Grigoriy Gvozdikov went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After 48 played minutes Shchelkovo got a freekick which was hit by Veniamin Shesternev.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Varfolomey Romanov stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Varfolomey Romanov blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aleksey Smertin having to make a save. Zlatoust FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
