Iosif Kosterkin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stanislav Markov in the 26th minute of the match. Semen Burlyay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sergey Yakushev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 29 minutes into the match, Nizhnekamsk's goal looked a bit too open when Vitaliy Butyrskiy came free, but Semen Burlyay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Grigoriy Kononov hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Nalchik's goalkeeper Iosif Kosterkin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vitaliy Butyrskiy to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Nizhnekamsk booed when FC Nalchik was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sergey Yakushev didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Nizhnekamsk's Grigoriy Kononov got a free kick in the 53rd minute.
