The supporters of Glazov booed when FC Nalchik was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aleksandr Bogoyavlenskiy didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Grigoriy Krivosheev in the 6th minute of play forced FC Nalchik's goalkeeper Iosif Kosterkin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Vitaliy Butyrskiy's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aleksandr Krasilnikov was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. FC Nalchik's Iosif Kosterkin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Grigoriy Krivosheev in the 21st minute of play. Vitaliy Butyrskiy struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Aleksandr Krasilnikov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Nalchik. A hard shot 30 in the game by Sergey Yakushev from a close distance when the talented Aleksandr Krasilnikov managed to make a qualified save. Glazov's players were relieved. The referee ignored Glazov's protests and gave Evgeniy Osipov a yellow card for diving instead. After 42 played minutes Glazov got a freekick which was hit by Evgeniy Medvedev. In the 44th minute, Evgeniy Osipov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

60 minutes into the game, FC Nalchik's Sergey Yakushev nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aleksandr Krasilnikov made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Glazov's Nikolay Budakov in the 65th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Iosif Kosterkin was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for FC Nalchik through an amazing save. Grigoriy Krivosheev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Iosif Kosterkin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 74th minute, Vitaliy Butyrskiy left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Nalchik fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Aleksandr Krasilnikov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petr Koshelev, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Vitaliy Butyrskiy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nikolay Budakov in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iosif Kosterkin saved FC Nalchik from getting behind. A collision led to Glazov getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Grigoriy Krivosheev hit a great ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. FC Nalchik fully deserved thier win.
