Kirill Kayumov received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Semen Burlyay came out and tried to block the shot, but Kirill Kayumov slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 21st minute. In the 26thth minute of the game Stanislav Markov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ivanovo HC's Eduard Hayaletdinov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Ivanovo HC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Kirill Kayumov hit a great ball. After 28 played minutes Ivanovo HC got a freekick which was hit by Matvey Belyavskiy. In the 39th minute, Kirill Kayumov left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ivanovo HC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. In the 44th minute, Matvey Belyavskiy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 46 minutes, Kirill Kayumov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ivanovo HC and the Nizhnekamsk players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Stanislav Markov was the one to do the kick off. Valeriy Aripov struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Eduard Hayaletdinov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nizhnekamsk. Ivanovo HC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Stanislav Markov 54 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-1. A collision led to Nizhnekamsk getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Valeriy Aripov hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lev Alferov got free with Eduard Hayaletdinov in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 60th minute Emmanuil Kabanov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Semen Burlyay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eduard Hayaletdinov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roman Naumkin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stanislav Markov got free with Eduard Hayaletdinov in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 79 minutes into the match, Kirill Kayumov notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Nizhnekamsk's Semen Burlyay. Semen Burlyay was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Matvey Belyavskiy hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Eduard Hayaletdinov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lev Alferov in the 88th minute. With a little luck, Ivanovo HC's Eduard Hayaletdinov got control of the ball when Stanislav Markov tried to sneak it across the goal line. 93 minutes into the game, Stanislav Markov recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Eduard Hayaletdinov. Stanislav Markov showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-2. Eduard Hayaletdinov made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Lev Alferov sent off a good shot on target. Many of Nizhnekamsk's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Nizhnekamsk may have spent more time on the ball, but Ivanovo HC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
