The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 9 minutes of play, Orenburg's Daniil Bozhenkin made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ruslan Andreev was left in no man's land by his defense there! 13 minutes into the game, Orenburg's Emmanuil Orlov nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ruslan Andreev made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Ernest Smekalin charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ernest Smekalin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Bratsek getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Ernest Smekalin hit a great ball. In the 21st minute, Petr Arhipov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ruslan Andreev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emmanuil Orlov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Emmanuil Orlov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38th minute, Daniil Bozhenkin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Orenburg fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Ruslan Andreev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Georgiy Ovchinnikov, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Bratsek's Ruslan Andreev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emmanuil Orlov in the 44th minute of play. Ruslan Andreev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniil Bozhenkin in the 46th minute of play. Orenburg's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniil Bozhenkin in the 48th minute. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rudolf Florenskiy stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Emmanuil Orlov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Ruslan Andreev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bratsek's Ruslan Andreev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniil Bozhenkin in the 61st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Rudolf Florenskiy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bratsek's supporters rose to their feet, but Rudolf Florenskiy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pavel Korzhev breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Petr Arhipov in the 66th minute of play forced Orenburg's goalkeeper Pavel Korzhev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ruslan Andreev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emmanuil Orlov got free with Ruslan Andreev in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pavel Korzhev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rudolf Florenskiy in the 82nd minute of play. After having played for 91 minutes, Emmanuil Orlov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Orenburg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emmanuil Orlov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Daniil Bozhenkin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Orenburg played a much better game than Bratsek and deserved their victory. The Bratsek players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
