Daniele Ascenzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gleb Fedulin, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 27th match minute, Gryzlo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mikhail Kostin to maneuver through the defense. Vadim Hrulev recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Irakliy Batischev in the 30th minute of play forced ZSKA's goalkeeper Oleg Aldanov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind ZSKA's goalkeeper Oleg Aldanov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tihon Ilyin in the 37th minute of play forced Gryzlo FC's goalkeeper Daniele Ascenzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oleg Aldanov was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Arseniy Danilov fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ZSKA's protests and gave Arseniy Danilov a yellow card for diving instead. After 86 played minutes ZSKA got a freekick which was hit by Arseniy Danilov. The Gryzlo FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching ZSKA's performance. The match ended with a win for ZSKA.
