Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Khasaasvyurt's Kirill Artemev started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 15th minute, Oleg Selivanov ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Irakliy Gordeychuk was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Irakliy Gordeychuk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gennadiy Kabanov in the 19th minute of the match. In the 27th minute, Mikhail Hrennikov left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Khasaasvyurt fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Irakliy Gordeychuk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oleg Selivanov in the 34th minute of the match. After having played for 36 minutes, Gennadiy Kabanov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nefteyugansk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gennadiy Kabanov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Irakliy Gordeychuk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gennadiy Kabanov in the 37th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Gennadiy Kazachenok hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oleg Selivanov in the 45th minute of play forced Khasaasvyurt's goalkeeper Irakliy Gordeychuk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gennadiy Kabanov might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Irakliy Gordeychuk. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gennadiy Kabanov ran back to his position shaking his head. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

After having played for 54 minutes, Oleg Selivanov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nefteyugansk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oleg Selivanov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mikhail Hrennikov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Maksim Ryabin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 60 minutes of play, Khasaasvyurt's Mikhail Hrennikov made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maksim Ryabin was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match clock showed 63 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Oleg Selivanov sped through Khasaasvyurt's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Irakliy Gordeychuk. In the 66th minute, Gennadiy Kazachenok hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kirill Artemev took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Maksim Ryabin. Maksim Ryabin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. In the 71st minute Gennadiy Kabanov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Irakliy Gordeychuk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mikhail Hrennikov's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maksim Ryabin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mikhail Hrennikov in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maksim Ryabin saved Nefteyugansk from getting behind. If Kirill Artemev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Mikhail Hrennikov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Khasaasvyurt's supporters rose to their feet, but Mikhail Hrennikov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maksim Ryabin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Maksim Ryabin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kirill Artemev, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Maksim Ryabin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kirill Artemev's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. 97 minutes into the match, Khasaasvyurt's Mikhail Hrennikov sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Maksim Ryabin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Khasaasvyurt fans cheered their team off the field, for while Nefteyugansk had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
