The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Andrey Pozdeev took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 19th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Maksim Ryabin. Nefteyugansk's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, Gennadiy Kabanov had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ruslan Andreev. Bratsek's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gennadiy Kabanov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Gennadiy Kabanov hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Maksim Ryabin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ernest Smekalin in the 28th minute. Oleg Selivanov blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ruslan Andreev having to make a save. Ruslan Andreev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oleg Selivanov in the 39th minute of play. Bratsek's Ruslan Andreev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oleg Selivanov in the 41st minute of play. Filimon Bukharin took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Maksim Ryabin. Maksim Ryabin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When Danila Durov fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nefteyugansk's protests and gave Danila Durov a yellow card for diving instead. Danila Durov kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Petr Arhipov kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. If Oleg Selivanov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gennadiy Kabanov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Ruslan Andreev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oleg Selivanov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruslan Andreev having to interfere. A hard shot 77 in the game by Gennadiy Kabanov from a close distance when the talented Ruslan Andreev managed to make a qualified save. Bratsek's players were relieved. Ruslan Andreev came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Nefteyugansk's Gennadiy Kabanov. But to his dismay, Gennadiy Kabanov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. If Gennadiy Kabanov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nefteyugansk's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
