The audience thought a goal was coming when Valentin Alekseev got free with Gennadiy Semin in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pavel Alov made a kick off. 乔延俊 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 乔延俊 scored 4-0 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gennadiy Semin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that 乔延俊's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gennadiy Semin was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. In the 59th minute Veniamin Soloveichik suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aleksey Evdokimov during the 59th minute. Valentin Alekseev might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gennadiy Semin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Valentin Alekseev ran back to his position shaking his head. When Evgeniy Prokopenko came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Vivat fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Evgeniy Prokopenko couldn't finish the play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Vivat fully deserved thier win.
