Felix Novikov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniil Semenov in the 80th minute of the match. Maksim Dvoirin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denis Baigildeev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Denis Baigildeev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Denis Baigildeev kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Maksim Dvoirin. That made the score 2-2 in the 95 minute of play. Petropavlovsk-Kamch. HC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
