The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 7th minute, Artem Doronin sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Meurmansk FC's Nikolay Bachinskiy didn't even have to move. Nikolay Bachinskiy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mark Belousov in the 8th minute of play. 11 minutes into the game, Yuriy Afanasenkov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Meurmansk FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vladivostok the free kick. The supporters of Vladivostok booed when Meurmansk FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yuriy Afanasenkov didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Meurmansk FC's Nikolay Bachinskiy got control of the ball when Pavel Derkachev tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Nikita Vyun fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Meurmansk FC's protests and gave Nikita Vyun a yellow card for diving instead. In the 16th minute, Erofey Zastavskiy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 20 minutes into the match, Valeriy Kauzov had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dmitriy Desnitskiy. Vladivostok's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Valeriy Kauzov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Pavel Derkachev took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nikolay Bachinskiy. Nikolay Bachinskiy dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Nikolay Bachinskiy made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Pavel Derkachev sent off a good shot on target. In the 31st minute, Vladivostok's Nikolay Sachkov ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nikolay Bachinskiy. Nikolay Bachinskiy yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. In the 35th minute Maksim Bashirov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dmitriy Desnitskiy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nikolay Bachinskiy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mark Belousov, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. The supporters of Vladivostok booed when Meurmansk FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erofey Zastavskiy didn't get a good kick on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 65 minutes into the match, Vladivostok's goalkeeper Dmitriy Desnitskiy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nikita Vyun. 68 minutes into the match, Meurmansk FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mark Belousov came free, but Nikolay Bachinskiy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Erofey Zastavskiy during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After having played for 80 minutes, Nikita Vyun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Meurmansk FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nikita Vyun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 82 minutes into the match, Meurmansk FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mark Belousov came free, but Nikolay Bachinskiy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 83 minutes into the game, Vladivostok's Nikolay Sachkov nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nikolay Bachinskiy made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. Nikolay Bachinskiy came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Vladivostok's Mark Belousov. But to his dismay, Mark Belousov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pavel Derkachev in the 89th minute of play forced Meurmansk FC's goalkeeper Nikolay Bachinskiy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erofey Zastavskiy kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. In the 91st minute Mark Belousov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nikolay Bachinskiy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ernest Orekhov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dmitriy Desnitskiy having to interfere. Nikita Vyun in the 95thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dmitriy Desnitskiy, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Vladivostok fans cheered their team off the field, for while Meurmansk FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
