ЦСКА Москва's Kirill Dybenko suffered a concussion after 8 minutes and had to leave the field. In the 10th minute, Konstantin Leostrin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nikita Lebedev during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Nikita Lebedev kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the match, ЦСКА Москва's goalkeeper Mikhail Khokhlov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stepan Medvedev. After 22 played minutes Neftekamsk got a freekick which was hit by Danil Chiryasov. After 29 minutes, Stepan Medvedev made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Mikhail Khokhlov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivan Lihovidov, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 36th match minute, Neftekamsk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Lihovidov to maneuver through the defense. Stepan Kulagin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vladimir Medvedev's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Danil Chiryasov hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. When Henry Costa came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the ЦСКА Москва fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Henry Costa couldn't finish the play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

After a defensive mix-up in Neftekamsk's zone, Henry Costa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stepan Kulagin came out of the goal and Henry Costa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Grigoriy Ignatiev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Stepan Kulagin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vladimir Medvedev recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Henry Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Danil Chiryasov hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. 90 minutes into the match, Nikita Lebedev dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Stepan Kulagin, 1-3. In the 95th minute, Nikita Lebedev made a precise shot to the right of Stepan Kulagin. Neftekamsk's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4.
