Mikhail Drozdov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Levan Yashin made a huge save. Egor Kulizhonkov didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fedor Devlecherov went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of FC Ural booed when Lviv Lions FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zinoviy Podkorytov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Egor Kulizhonkov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fedor Devlecherov, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. In the 14th minute, Zinoviy Podkorytov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 15th minute, Zahar Kachalovskiy sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Lviv Lions FC's Egor Kulizhonkov didn't even have to move. Egor Kulizhonkov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fedor Devlecherov in the 20th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, FC Ural's Fedor Devlecherov got a free kick in the 21st minute. Lviv Lions FC's Egor Kulizhonkov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fedor Devlecherov in the 23rd minute of play. After 23 played minutes Lviv Lions FC got a freekick which was hit by Boris Nevzorov. After 24 played minutes, FC Ural's Zahar Kachalovskiy shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Egor Kulizhonkov came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Ural reached it. Fedor Devlecherov charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fedor Devlecherov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Fedor Devlecherov kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. With his leg Levan Yashin managed to avoid a goal in the 27thth minute, when Lviv Lions FC's Konstantin Mamontov fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Egor Kulizhonkov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oleg Rodionov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 29 minutes of play, FC Ural's Fedor Devlecherov made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Egor Kulizhonkov was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Boris Nevzorov in the 34th minute of play forced FC Ural's goalkeeper Levan Yashin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oleg Rodionov hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Veniamin Klimchuk kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, FC Ural's Oleg Rodionov got a free kick in the 39th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Konstantin Mamontov got free with Levan Yashin in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Konstantin Mamontov struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Levan Yashin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lviv Lions FC. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Emmanuil Makul recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Konstantin Mamontov in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Levan Yashin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boris Nevzorov in the 58th minute of play forced FC Ural's goalkeeper Levan Yashin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Lviv Lions FC fans' excitement grew in the 63rd match minute when Lviv Lions FC's Konstantin Mamontov looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 66th minute, Konstantin Mamontov left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lviv Lions FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Egor Kulizhonkov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Platon Dibich in the 72nd minute of the match. Levan Yashin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. In the 91st minute Konstantin Mamontov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Levan Yashin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Ural's Fedor Devlecherov slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Egor Kulizhonkov. That made the score 4-3 after 92 minutes of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Lviv Lions FC fully deserved thier win.
