The audience was convinced that Vyacheslav Birman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Trifon Averchenko was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. Trifon Averchenko was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ruslan Polesitskiy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Trifon Averchenko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 22 minutes into the match, Maykop's goal looked a bit too open when Vyacheslav Birman came free, but Trifon Averchenko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to ЦСКА getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Innokentiy Boldyrev hit a great ball. After 36 played minutes ЦСКА got a freekick which was hit by Edgardo Cristofol. Trifon Averchenko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvestr Kurshakov in the 41st minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Konstantin Shafranov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 44 minutes into the game, Aleksey Kulzhinskiy was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Maykop's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ЦСКА the free kick. Aleksey Kulzhinskiy kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Konstantin Shafranov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Trifon Averchenko having to interfere. The Maykop players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. ЦСКА were winning 0-2.

Through an outstanding action, after 51 minutes, Trifon Averchenko successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 59 minutes into the match, Maykop's goal looked a bit too open when Silvestr Kurshakov came free, but Trifon Averchenko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Trifon Averchenko came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by ЦСКА's Vyacheslav Birman. But to his dismay, Vyacheslav Birman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Trifon Averchenko was a little too slow when Vyacheslav Birman got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 67th minute. The score was now 0-4. Maykop's defense didn't have a chance, in the 71st minute, when Ruslan Polesitskiy scored to the left of an out of position Trifon Averchenko, making the score, 0-5. When Ernest Kolyvanov fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Maykop's protests and gave Ernest Kolyvanov a yellow card for diving instead. After 76 played minutes Maykop got a freekick which was hit by Ernest Kolyvanov. Konstantin Shafranov scored 0-6 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Trifon Averchenko, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 83rd minute, Konstantin Shafranov left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ЦСКА fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. Ruslan Polesitskiy might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Trifon Averchenko. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ruslan Polesitskiy ran back to his position shaking his head. ЦСКА's Vyacheslav Birman got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 89th minute Silvestr Kurshakov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Trifon Averchenko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Innokentiy Boldyrev succeeded in the game's 93rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-8. Trifon Averchenko didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 96th minute, which inside left pole to 0-9. When the match was over ЦСКА could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Maykop throughout the match.
