Fedor Ageev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anton Kasyanov having to interfere. Bianco Farina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Anton Kasyanov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Bianco Farina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Veniamin Kardanov's late challenge caught a Astrakhan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Veniamin Kardanov helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Astrakhan booed when Blagoveshchensk FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Veniamin Kardanov didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Blagoveshchensk FC's zone, Mark Frolov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anton Kasyanov came out of the goal and Mark Frolov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Anton Kasyanov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fedor Ageev in the 25th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stanislav Davydenko during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Blagoveshchensk FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 26th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Astrakhan a penalty, 28 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Afanasiy Abakushin, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Blagoveshchensk FC's Anton Kasyanov. 1-0. Petr Sobolev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Budach having to interfere. In the 36th minute, Astrakhan's Fedor Ageev dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Astrakhan's goalkeeper Ivan Budach, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ivan Budach came out of the goal in the 48th minute to try and stop a shot by Blagoveshchensk FC's Petr Sobolev. But to his dismay, Petr Sobolev quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The wind increased when Nikolay Simonyan made the kick off in the second half. Maksim Kolyadko succeeded in the game's 60th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-1. 64 minutes into the game, Nikifor Ohapkin threw the ball into play from the sideline. Astrakhan's Gaudencio Seguinus quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After 68 played minutes Astrakhan got a freekick which was hit by Bianco Farina. 70 minutes into the match, Blagoveshchensk FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fedor Ageev came free, but Anton Kasyanov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gaudencio Seguinus's late challenge caught a Blagoveshchensk FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. When Bianco Farina came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Astrakhan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bianco Farina couldn't finish the play. Ivan Budach came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Blagoveshchensk FC's Nikolay Simonyan. But to his dismay, Nikolay Simonyan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bianco Farina in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anton Kasyanov saved Blagoveshchensk FC from getting behind. Fedor Ageev recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 94 played minutes Blagoveshchensk FC got a freekick which was hit by Stanislav Davydenko. In the 97th minute of the match Afanasiy Abakushin sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Anton Kasyanov skillfully saved the ball.
