Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Astrakhan's Bianco Farina started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Astrakhan's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Filipp Vlasov fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a rather tough play, Maykop's Rudolf Machulskiy got a free kick in the 6th minute. In the 8th minute, Bianco Farina ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gerasim Bubnov was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Ivan Budach was out of position in the 12 minute of play, and Filipp Vlasov capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Filipp Vlasov really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Rudolf Machulskiy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Ivan Budach tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 19 played minutes Maykop got a freekick which was hit by Efim Kerzhakov. In the 21st minute, Bianco Farina got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Bianco Farina managed to get in a good position for a shot. Astrakhan's supporters rose to their feet, but Bianco Farina was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gerasim Bubnov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mark Frolov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerasim Bubnov having to interfere. Bianco Farina recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fedor Ageev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerasim Bubnov having to interfere. After having played for 30 minutes, Bianco Farina managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Astrakhan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bianco Farina was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gerasim Bubnov came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Astrakhan's Bianco Farina. But to his dismay, Bianco Farina quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. After some careless play in the Maykop defense, Bianco Farina kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gerasim Bubnov. The Maykop fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gerasim Bubnov should have stopped the shot. Gerasim Bubnov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mark Frolov, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. After the first half Astrakhan were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Filipp Vlasov made a kick off. Gerasim Bubnov made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Bianco Farina sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Maykop's Gerasim Bubnov got control of the ball when Bianco Farina tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Maykop booed when Astrakhan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mark Frolov didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 62nd match minute, Astrakhan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bianco Farina to maneuver through the defense. Ivan Budach showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rudolf Machulskiy in the 67th minute of the match. Gerasim Bubnov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mark Frolov in the 68th minute of the match. In the 73rd minute, Gaudencio Seguinus made a precise shot to the right of Gerasim Bubnov. Maykop's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-6. 77 minutes into the game, Mark Frolov recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gerasim Bubnov. Mark Frolov showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-7. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fedor Ageev in the 90th minute of play forced Maykop's goalkeeper Gerasim Bubnov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mark Frolov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerasim Bubnov having to interfere. Astrakhan played a much better game than Maykop and deserved their victory. The Maykop players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
