The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 9thth minute of the game Fedor Ivanchuk who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Novokuznetsk's Antonis Anastasiadis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Novokuznetsk's goalkeeper Antonis Anastasiadis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fedor Ivanchuk in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Antonis Anastasiadis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Antonis Anastasiadis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fedor Ivanchuk in the 19th minute of play. AS TRIGGER were awarded a corner in the 21th minute after Novokuznetsk's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Britton Grieve took the corner. After taking down the ball on AS TRIGGER's corner Britton Grieve fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Antonis Anastasiadis quite easily take care of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Albert Kun in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Antonis Anastasiadis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Antonis Anastasiadis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fedor Ivanchuk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When AS TRIGGER's Severino Ihazintu, in the 30th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for AS TRIGGER. 32 minutes into the match, Novokuznetsk's goal looked a bit too open when Severino Ihazintu came free, but Antonis Anastasiadis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Grigoriy Stepanenko got free with Veniamin Hvoinskiy in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Britton Grieve was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 62nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. AS TRIGGER's Avram Diaconu was substituted for Gabriel Horea. Gerasim Fedorov in the 65thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. In the 91st minute, AS TRIGGER's Severino Ihazintu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. AS TRIGGER's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
