Felipe Custódio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zula Karbowski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. Yuliy Esikov in the 5thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Zula Karbowski, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 8 played minutes FC NOSTA got a freekick which was hit by Julian Czubski. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arkadiy Bestemyanov in the 11th minute of play forced FC NOSTA's goalkeeper Nacho González to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zula Karbowski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yuliy Esikov in the 19th minute. The supporters of FC NOSTA booed when lipetsk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arkadiy Bestemyanov didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Felipe Custódio kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Zula Karbowski. That made the score 1-0 in the 27 minute of play. Felipe Custódio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zula Karbowski having to interfere. Zula Karbowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Custódio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th minute, Felipe Custódio made a precise shot to the right of Zula Karbowski. lipetsk's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. In the 38th minute, Yuliy Esikov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 42 minutes of play, lipetsk's Arkadiy Bestemyanov made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nacho González was left in no man's land by his defense there! All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After 63 played minutes lipetsk got a freekick which was hit by Arkadiy Bestemyanov. Zula Karbowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Custódio in the 63rd minute of the match. In the 65th minute Felipe Custódio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zula Karbowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. lipetsk's Filimon Bessonov suffered a sore thigh after 66 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Julian Czubski fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC NOSTA's protests and gave Julian Czubski a yellow card for diving instead. lipetsk's Danila Bardakh was substituted for Filimon Bessonov. After a rather tough play, FC NOSTA's Julian Czubski got a free kick in the 68th minute. Vitold Rubakin's late challenge caught a lipetsk's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vitold Rubakin helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC NOSTA fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 71st minute. Penalty! In the 81st minute Yuliy Esikov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zula Karbowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 83 minutes into the match, lipetsk's goal looked a bit too open when Yuliy Esikov came free, but Zula Karbowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85thth minute of the game Felipe Custódio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but lipetsk's Zula Karbowski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Yuliy Esikov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yuliy Esikov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Zula Karbowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 96th minute, Younis Al Khars hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. There was no doubt that FC NOSTA were the better team. FC NOSTA's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
