In the 17th minute, Wlodzimierz Dziuma left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The lipetsk fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. When Danil Kokoshnikov fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored lipetsk's protests and gave Danil Kokoshnikov a yellow card for diving instead. After 23 played minutes lipetsk got a freekick which was hit by Danil Kokoshnikov. lipetsk's Zula Karbowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Porfiriy Lubenskiy in the 24th minute of play. When FC LARISSA Ivanovo's Porfiriy Lubenskiy in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arkadiy Bestemyanov stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alexander Lunin tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Roman Babel. Roman Babel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wlodzimierz Dziuma in the 58th minute of play. lipetsk's Wlodzimierz Dziuma got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 63rd match minute, FC LARISSA Ivanovo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sylwester Sokol to maneuver through the defense. Roman Babel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wlodzimierz Dziuma in the 64th minute of play. Juliusz Giuliani made a great header on lipetsk's corner, it was just that FC LARISSA Ivanovo's Roman Babel managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 68th minute, Timur Babaskin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Through an outstanding action, after 85 minutes, Zula Karbowski successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With a little luck, lipetsk's Zula Karbowski got control of the ball when Inácio Domingues tried to sneak it across the goal line. Filimon Bessonov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. During the 93rd minute of the match Danil Kokoshnikov completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Danil Kokoshnikov a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 93 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for lipetsk! Zula Karbowski had in the 95thth minute some difficulties stopping Inácio Domingues's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. When Porfiriy Lubenskiy came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the FC LARISSA Ivanovo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Porfiriy Lubenskiy couldn't finish the play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. FC LARISSA Ivanovo had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
