After 21 minutes of play, Melenky FC's Sergey Kapkaev made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pahom Nikiforov was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of True storY booed when Melenky FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sergey Kapkaev didn't get a good kick on the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Melenky FC's goal looked a bit too open when Emil Kostadinov came free, but Evgeniy Bolshakov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sergey Kapkaev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Pahom Nikiforov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emil Kostadinov got free with Evgeniy Bolshakov in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 35 minutes into the match, True storY's Emil Kostadinov sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Evgeniy Bolshakov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 40 minutes into the match, Melenky FC's goal looked a bit too open when Emil Kostadinov came free, but Evgeniy Bolshakov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st minute, Feddo Reitsma left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The True storY fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Feddo Reitsma to make the kick off. In the 50th minute Emil Kostadinov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evgeniy Bolshakov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. True storY's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Melenky FC the free kick. Augusto Diagur hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Evgeniy Bolshakov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emil Kostadinov, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. 84 minutes had been played when some careless play by Melenky FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Emil Kostadinov was slow to take the kick. During this time True storY's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Emil Kostadinov got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Evgeniy Bolshakov quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. A collision led to Melenky FC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Zeng Yi Yan hit a great ball. Anton Kantola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Evgeniy Bolshakov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see True storY lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
