The audience thought a goal was coming when Göktürk Canfeda got free with Igor Brattsov in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Igor Brattsov didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gleb Sorokin went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. From close distance Gleb Sorokin pressed in the 2-0 goal high up into nets stiches in the right cross 9 minutes into the game. Göktürk Canfeda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Apatit Kirovsk FC's Igor Brattsov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gleb Elkibaev in the 14th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Apatit Kirovsk FC's Leif Hammarberg got a free kick in the 15th minute. In the 15th minute, Gleb Sorokin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Esperance fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. In the 22nd minute, Esperance's Gleb Sorokin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Igor Brattsov. Igor Brattsov yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-0. 29 minutes into the match, Gleb Elkibaev had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Igor Brattsov. Apatit Kirovsk FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gleb Elkibaev was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. 35 minutes into the game, Gleb Elkibaev recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Igor Brattsov. Gleb Elkibaev showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 8-0. When Esperance's Gleb Elkibaev in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Apatit Kirovsk FC's goalie prevented a goal. Sergey Matetskiy's late challenge caught a Esperance's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sergey Matetskiy helped the player get up and apologised. Gleb Elkibaev scored 9-0 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Igor Brattsov, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Igor Brattsov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gleb Elkibaev in the 44th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 51 minutes, the score became 11-0 when Gleb Elkibaev sped through Apatit Kirovsk FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Igor Brattsov. 58 minutes into the game, Esperance's Gleb Sorokin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Igor Brattsov made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 13-0. After 60 minutes, Gleb Elkibaev made it 14-0 with a short kick to the right side. Apatit Kirovsk FC's Igor Brattsov tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Semen Rodionov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leon Zdrojowy having to interfere. In the 67th minute, Gleb Sorokin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Igor Brattsov was frozen by the shot and now it was 15-0. Esperance's Marat Markov was substituted for Göktürk Canfeda. Semen Rodionov hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Igor Brattsov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marat Markov in the 73rd minute of the match. Witold Orling's late challenge caught a Esperance's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The Apatit Kirovsk FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Igor Brattsov should have stopped the shot. After 90 minutes of play, Esperance's Nikolay Adabir made it 18-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Igor Brattsov was left in no man's land by his defense there! Marat Markov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Igor Brattsov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marat Markov in the 95th minute of the match. There was no doubt that Esperance were the better team. Esperance's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
