But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gleb Elkibaev couldn't finish the play. In a very dangerous position, a player in FCZ 1925 fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 72nd minute. Penalty! In the 93rd minute, Timur Aronin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 94 minutes into the match, FCZ 1925's goalkeeper Mikhail Buchenkov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gavriil Dolgachev. After a rather tough play, FCZ 1925's Kliment Frolov got a free kick in the 96th minute. The Esperance players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
